Two cars collided on the A13 near Ferry Lane. Emergency services responded, causing road closures and severe delays.

I don’t know how hurt anyone is yet, but police and ambulance services were contacted for info. The road closed in both directions after the A13 Ferry Lane crash.
Pictures showed a helicopter landed close by in a grassy area. There were also many police and ambulances present. You can see damage to the cars in pictures, and the crash also messed up the median.
Someone who saw it said it was awful and they were driving when it occurred. The witness saw a car swerve suddenly, go across lanes, and hit the left reservation. Then, it flew into another car on the other side, totaling it.
Police said they got called about it around 4:31 pm on February 14th. The accident was on the A13 near Rainham, involving two vehicles. Officers are still there now.
Traffic was really bad yesterday. The AA said delays were “severe,” and a part of the A13 is still closed. They need to clean up and figure out what happened, but TfL says the detour routes are clear now.
