Police need witnesses for a dangerous driving case. This happened on the A303 on February 11. Officers seized drugs during the incident.

Around 8:45 PM, police saw a speeding silver BMW near Buck Services by Andover. The BMW was on the A303. Officers chased the car for six miles.

The BMW dangerously overtook cars at high speed and left the A303 at Micheldever. The car crashed into a tree. The driver ran away before police arrived.

Police found suspected cannabis in the BMW. They arrested a 22-year-old man from Basingstoke town. He might have supplied drugs and also drove dangerously while under the influence. He did not stop for police.

The man is now in police custody. Police want to hear from witnesses who saw a speeding silver BMW between Basingstoke and Andover on the evening of February 11.
