The westbound lane closed, blocking traffic in both directions. Traffic from Chitten Hill also faced delays, affecting people coming from Sandford.
Firefighters stayed at the scene while they moved the lorry. The fire service said the corner is dangerous, making the recovery tricky.
A fire service person said a car hit a lorry on Dorchester Road in Lytchett Minster. A fire crew found the crash around 12:02 pm and needed a fire engine for safety.
The car driver is getting medical care from an ambulance crew. Firefighters finished their job around 12:51 pm but remained because the lorry was a hazard.
Ambulance workers and a fast response car took someone to Dorset County Hospital. Police said no one was hurt and did not need to come at all. Thankfully, everyone involved was okay, and authorities handled the situation quickly.
