An 18-year-old died after a car crash on A362 Vallis Road near Frome. The incident occurred early Saturday morning.
Emergency services responded quickly to the crash site. A blue Mazda was involved in the wreck. An 18-year-old was hurt really badly, and they rushed him to the hospital right away. Sadly, he passed away from his injuries early Tuesday, February 11.
Another person was in the car too, and they also needed medical help from the hospital. However, their injuries weren’t too serious. The road stayed closed until Saturday afternoon while investigators checked out what happened.
Police believe only the Mazda was involved. Avon and Somerset Police are requesting dashcam footage to help them piece things together. They expressed their sympathy to his family, and a special officer is assisting them right now.
