Two men, aged 41 and 84, died in a two-car collision on the A66 in Long Newton. Police seek witnesses.

The men were 41 and 84 years old. Both of them died at the scene. The accident involved two cars: a black Nissan and a red Vauxhall. It happened on the A66 in Long Newton, going eastbound, just after 9 pm on Tuesday, February 11.
Emergency services showed up fast, and the road closed. Drivers were told to stay away. Paramedics tried, but couldn’t save the men. The police are helping their families.
