Breck Homes to build 52 affordable homes on two brownfield sites in Bradford, West Yorkshire, starting mid-2026.

One site was a Flockton Road car park. Brompton Avenue has the other plot. It once housed a council office; Bolling School for Girls was there before.
Bradford Council listed these last year. They were selling assets to cover deficits. The asking price was £400,000 each. Sale prices stay unrevealed.
Breck Homes plans 20 houses on Flockton Road. Thirty-two houses will go on Brompton Avenue. These will be affordable houses, including shared ownership and affordable rentals.
Planning applications are coming soon. Build starts around mid-2026, depending on receiving planning approval. Breck works with housing associations.
Andy Garnett directs Breck. They build quality affordable homes. Breck expands across the north and is working in Lancashire, Cheshire, and Merseyside.
West Yorkshire needs 38,000 new homes. Building on old sites helps; it is a key part of Breck’s development approach.
Breck worked closely with the Council. They quickly secured the land and are keen to continue this working relationship.
Breck also agreed terms on another Yorkshire site, where they plan 53 more homes there. Breck operates from Lancashire and wants to expand in Yorkshire. They are in discussions about a Leeds commercial space that should become operational this year.
