They are working with Bradford 2025. Bradford is the UK City of Culture, which encourages locals to open their homes and welcome culture fans to the region.

The company is investing £100,000 in this partnership to find ways to support cultural heritage and boost sustainable tourism. Economic regeneration will happen across the district and in the wider region too.

They want more locals to host visitors, showing off lesser-known areas, so the rural district can benefit from increased tourism.

Airbnb is the official provider of places to stay and will give a £100 travel coupon for new hosts in West Yorkshire. The offer lasts until December 31, 2025.

Bradford 2025 has scheduled over 1,000 events, which may bring in more money. Visitors could spend an extra £136.9 million locally.

The cultural program began in January with the launch event called ‘RISE.’ ‘RISE’ had 20,000 people and was an open-air show in the city center.

Upcoming highlights include the Turner Prize and new exhibits at the science museum. David Hockney supports a drawing project called ‘DRAW!’.

Bradford has a growing positive image of being a welcoming place.

The partnership with Airbnb is a big opportunity for Bradford to become even more welcoming. The cultural sector will benefit from tourism, local businesses will get a boost, and locals can earn extra money as Airbnb hosts.

Visitors can experience real Bradford life while locals share their favorite spots. They know cultural gems, good places to eat, and the best places to visit – the places they love.
