Orangemable cafe in Alcester to close after 15 years. A new cafe bar, Chapter 23, will open in its place in March.

Jayne Richman-Bolt owns the cafe. She owns a business on High Street. Jayne will partially retire now and focus on other ventures, including her holiday business in Cornwall. She also owns Shakespaw Cat Cafe in Stratford. Jayne now wants to dedicate more time with her granddaughters.
Orangemable started at Longbarn Village, Jayne’s old business. She wanted to reuse china and unite people. Jayne fixed Tudor barns, neglected for thirty years. Two kittens inspired the cafe’s name: brother and sister named Orange and Mable.
Jayne has lived in Alcester for twenty seven years. She has had diverse jobs over time, including working as a hairdresser and a beautician. She ran an antique business, restored buildings, and owned a snooker hall. Orangemable was her favorite enterprise. She loved hosting celebrations for customers, from weddings to wakes, baby showers and hen parties.
Jayne appreciates the customer support over fifteen years. She hopes customers visit one last time. The last day to visit is February 27th, a Thursday. Chapter 23 will open a cafe bar there on March 8th, marking a new chapter for the building.
