Forth Valley Men’s Shed in Alloa gets a five thousand pound donation from Econ Engineering for new facilities.

The UK Men’s Sheds Association helps men connect. They share skills and work on projects together. The Alloa shed will now get new facilities, helping them grow and stay around.
Forth Valley Men’s Shed offers a nice workshop which helps men be healthier both mentally and physically. They make friends and share their stories and also learn different abilities there.
Econ Engineering makes vehicles for winter and roads. They gave fifteen thousand pounds to Men’s Sheds and the sheds are near their work locations. The main office is in Ripon and another shed is located in Cardiff.
Colin Trewhitt manages the Econ factory and said they support Men’s Sheds. Each shed got five thousand pounds. He sees the positive impact on communities firsthand helping people come together, share what they know, and avoid feeling lonely.
He learned how important these Sheds are and that they strengthen community bonds for many people. He thinks it’s important to help them and hopes this money helps them do well. Rob Lloyd chairs the UKMSA group and appreciates Econ Engineering’s help a lot.
He sees it recognizes the difference Sheds make impacting both their members and local people. These grants will help Ripon, Alloa, and Cardiff and will benefit from the grants long-term.
