Andover Rangers swiftly assisted in catching thieves who stole cash and cards from a shop on Andover High Street.

But guess what? The Andover Rangers helped out quickly. Iris Anderson works with Blue Cross. She said the Rangers were amazing; they calmed the shaken staff. The Rangers even helped find the thieves.
The Blue Cross staff called the Rangers using the town radio system. The Rangers were patrolling close by. They arrived fast, reassured the team, and the staff told them what occurred.
Someone saw the stolen cards used at a taxi firm and shops in Winchester. The Rangers contacted Winchester colleagues and worked with shops and the police.
Shelley Coburn manages Andover BID. She said Rangers are vital for Andover’s safety. The Rangers support the police, help people, and stop crime; they make Andover safer, she explained.
They caught the thief on CCTV and put the picture on the DISC app. DISC helps businesses share crime info, and both Winchester and Andover use it. The police can see this info too, and businesses got a message that warned about the person and risk.
