Rotary Club and West Suffolk Council staff revitalized the Angel Hill Memorial Garden with new, lasting plants.

The Rotary Club and council workers both helped. They want the garden to look great and help the planet. The Rotary Club’s president and garden manager led the effort, and the Rotary Club bought 180 new plants.
Simon Hobson said they are saving history and being eco-friendly. They are planting things that will last a long time so the garden will stay pretty for many years.
They planted wedding cake trees, white dazzler, and arctic white plants to keep the garden looking good all year. These plants will add color and help the environment.
Clare Devlin enjoyed working on the garden and learning why they picked those plants. She is excited to see the garden grow, as the memorial was made a long time ago and opened in 1921.
