A dog grooming place got robbed. The Dog House is on Albert Road. It happened Wednesday, February 19th. Burglars stole a safe and a cash box.

The cash box was later found empty near Millennium Green Road, at the bottom of Hill Street stairs. The safe is still missing, though.

Tony Evans owns The Dog House. The front door was smashed open, and he thinks about £1,000 got stolen. He says damage cost another £1,000, and two people probably did this.

Police are now investigating the crime and looking at found footprints. The burglars damaged the front door a lot. They grabbed the cash box and safe only.

Tony urges other businesses to be safer, even though he doesn’t expect to recover the lost money. The loss hurts his small business. He asks anyone with tips to speak up.

He apologizes to his customers and appreciates their support. If you know something, call the police, using log number LC2250220-0121. Police were asked for a statement.
