The Arborfield Brownies and David Wilson Homes teamed up, making a fun watering can workshop as part of a new energy saving effort.

The Brownies used paints to decorate watering cans, creating designs about water and the environment on metal watering cans. Acrylic paints helped them make their art.

David Wilson Homes will show the finished designs at Finchwood Park in Finchampstead. The display showcases water saved by new homes.

The workshop belongs to a larger campaign where the housebuilder works with groups and schools. They help picture energy and water savings in places like Finchwood Park, which features new homes.

Karen, a Brownie leader, spoke about sustainability. The Brownies enjoyed working with David Wilson Homes, learning about water and energy use while displaying their art.

Alex Dowling, Director of Sales and Marketing for Barratt David Wilson Southern Counties, discussed their work with the Brownies. He highlighted that sustainable living means everybody can reduce water and energy usage. He feels proud of their work.
