Armagh Methodist Church might get fixed up soon. Plans went to the local council for approval. The Armagh Methodist Church committee submitted these plans. They want to fix and decorate the church and Lynn Hall.

The church was built in 1835. They improved and remodeled it over time, and it became a big church with 500 seats. It was the biggest then in the Portadown area.

The new plans include fixing the church inside. They want to change the heating system to electric, and they also hope to remove two pews. This makes room for the new heating pipes.

They want to fix cracks in the walls and plan to paint walls, ceilings, and woodwork. Also, they will replace broken tiles at the entrance; a cracked arch near the pulpit needs repair and paint.

Lynn Hall will also have some changes. Besides repairs and new flooring, they want new toilets, which will include baby changing areas.

The community room will gain acoustic panels, and people can add a TV with new electrical points.

In the social room, they want to improve a corner that could become an exhibition space. New cupboards and soft furnishings could be added. The application will be advertised soon.
