Armagh NI supporters raised £10,000 for the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust, marking a milestone donation on their 30th anniversary

The club uses this popular Armagh bar for meetings and chose the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust as the charity they would fundraise for. This year is special for the Armagh NISC, as the club celebrates its 30th anniversary.
Their anniversary dinner, held last month at the Armagh City Hotel, helped raise much of the money. A club person said they felt tremendous pride in presenting the money to Colin Bell, with Chairman Michael Calvert making the presentation before their annual meeting.
A club spokesperson discussed their fundraising efforts over the last few years, culminating in their 30th dinner in early February at the Armagh City Hotel. The club thanks all their members, friends, and supporters, whose contributions made this donation possible.
This donation marks a significant milestone as the largest donation ever for the club, which has been around for 30 years. They believe in the cause they’re supporting, as this charity helps Northern Ireland fans and supports them during tough times.
The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust supports families by easing financial hardship for the bereaved, to enable their return loved ones home to Ireland who have died abroad in tragic circumstances. It is a volunteer-led charity that started after a sad family event when Kevin Bell died suddenly in New York in June 2013.
Kevin’s friends and family showed great support, raising funds to bring him home. The charity’s website details how Kevin’s family created a permanent legacy by using the funds to establish a charity that assists other families facing similar situations.
The charity provides families with financial support, advice, and guidance to help bring loved ones home quickly. The charity greatly appreciates the support from Armagh’s supporters.
Colin Bell posted thanks on social media, noting their generous dinner invitation and hosting a related quiz for the charity. He was presented with a check for a marvellous £10,000, resulting in hundreds of congratulations and praise on the social media post.
