CalMac ferry services face cancellations due to technical issues and adverse weather; major disruptions reported.

CalMac will give an update around noon today. This update concerns later trips on Thursday, February 20. Bad weather could still mess with those trips; they could get delayed or even canceled.
Also, the new MV Glen Sannox has a changed schedule concerning Thursday, February 20. The strong winds are the reason for the change, with its Brodick sailings at 8:40 AM and 5:20 PM canceled. The 10:50 AM Troon crossing is also off.
The Glen Sannox now leaves Brodick at 2:30 PM instead of the original 1:00 PM. It departs Troon at 4:40 PM instead of 3:10 PM. CalMac said these trips could still be affected at the last minute.
CalMac is contacting folks whose trips are affected and apologizes for this trouble. They posted info about passenger rights. The 6:30 AM sailing from Brodick to Troon is canceled tomorrow (Friday, February 21) because the ferry stayed overnight on Arran.
The MV Glen Sannox should be back at 8:40 AM, leaving from Brodick. However, all trips tomorrow could still get messed up, so keep an eye out, okay?
