A 20-year-old has been arrested for attempted murder after a man was seriously assaulted in Essex. The victim is hospitalized.

Officers got there fast, within seven minutes. They helped him, along with paramedics and the air ambulance flew him to the hospital. Good news: his injuries aren’t life-threatening now, but he is still in the hospital.
Police arrested a 20-year-old from Great Baddow within 45 minutes for attempted murder. He is still in custody now as they investigate.
Detective Inspector Andy Drake spoke about it and said the police will be around Meadgate Avenue more. He wants to assure everyone there’s no wider risk, as the investigation is moving quickly and they’re working hard to find out what happened.
