Trains faced delays after objects thrown from a bridge struck the line, risking passenger safety in dangerous attacks.

East Midlands Railway reported the trouble. The first incident was on February 3rd when a big scooter got thrown from a bridge near Loughborough station. Next, waste and bricks fell on the track from the same bridge, which connects two roads.
Someone threw a rock at a train on February 16th. Another thing was thrown the next day, smashing a train’s windshield. The bad acts impacted many trains. Twenty-one services faced delays adding up to over three hours.
Someone called the events “incredibly dangerous,” stating that it risks people’s safety a lot. The railway asks people to help by reporting any similar events to the police who handle transport issues for the UK, where safety is their top concern.
Network Rail also spoke about it, stating they work to stop these crimes. They partner with police and train firms because vandalism disrupts the rail network.
