Matt Payne runs London Marathon for Autism Hampshire after his kids’ autism diagnosis. He aims to raise funds and awareness.

Matt has two kids, both recently diagnosed with autism. Matt said it’s a personal journey, and he wants to learn about their future. Therefore, he is running the London Marathon for them.
Cheryl Claxton, the head of community services at Autism Hampshire, appreciates Matt’s efforts. The charity will cheer for him.
Autism Hampshire gives vital support to autistic people and families in Hampshire. Donations help them run support groups, provide training, and support living. Direct support is also available, assisting pre and post diagnosis.
Matt said autism is new to his family, and they are constantly learning about it. He is grateful to help this charity and appreciates representing Autism Hampshire. Moreover, he wants to raise money for them.
Matt has been a runner since 2019 and works as a graphic designer. He will run many races, including the London Marathon, Bramley 20/10, and Fleet Half Marathon. He will also run Newbury 10k, Endure 24, Basingstoke Half, and Festival Place 5k. The Great South Run finishes his races.
Matt has raised £1,444 so far, and small donations are helpful. He welcomes support from businesses too. Matt is co-organizing a race night at the Post Box Sports Bar. Funds will aid Autism Hampshire and St Michael’s.
