Barrhead Tesco shoppers collected £10,465 in six weeks after the tsunami, showing great community spirit from Barrhead and Neilston.
Renfrew High pupils helped with tsunami relief. Students and staff had stalls, like “soak the teacher.” They raised around £3,000 total. The school sent it to the tsunami appeal.
Merchiston Hospital said goodbye to Bobby Dick. He worked as their groundsman. Colleagues gave him a nice retirement party.
