Barry Planning Applications Approved Over the Last Seven Days

The council approved a home project for a sunroom and extension at 23 Trem Y Don. Adrian Harding applied, and LTG Design helped. Approval came on January 30, and the work must start within five years. Also, nature must be helped.

Judy Sylvester got approval for changes to an extension fix at 14 Ceri Road. The plan was adjusted to avoid a water pipe, although the original plan provided easier access. Approval occurred on January 31, 2025, and nature still needs help there.

Bryan Jenkins can build a garden room at 8 The Heathers, Barry. It didn’t need a full application because existing rules allowed it under law. The decision happened January 31.

Elizabeth Jenkins also got approval for an extension at 8 Cold Knap Way, which includes a balcony. Approval was granted January 30, and work must begin within five years. Nature must be considered too.

The council decided on all projects, and a delegated official handled each case. Rules and zones affected each application, with highways, aviation zones, and other things mattering.

All plans must start in five years, and residents need to follow planning rules. Not doing so can cause problems, and the council can take action then.
