Basingstoke’s Post Office is moving to 4 Loddon Mall, RG21 7HY, near The Anvil, opening April 30th at 1 PM.
The old Post Office closed back in February. It used to be inside WHSmith. That shop, at 5-7 Old Basing Mall, shut down.
Hours stay the same at the new place. Go Monday to Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. You can get all the usual services there. An experienced person will run it.
They will also run a store. It sells cards, stationery, and gifts. The location is renewed for customers. You’ll see one full-screened counter and two open-plan counters.
Parking is on Clifton Terrace Road. Disabled bays are there. The Malls Shopping Centre has more parking.
The council knows it’s important. They helped find a solution and wanted services back quickly. Council members helped the search. They worked to minimize disruption.
They thanked the Post Office company. Services restart in The Malls in April. The Post Office wants your feedback. Tell them what you think of the new place; what about getting in and around?
