Bath Restaurant Week from May 3 to 11 celebrates local food businesses and helps them connect with new customers.

Bath BID helps Bath businesses succeed. This group is independent and not-for-profit. Alex Peters works at Bath Pizza Co and Green Park Brasserie. He had an idea for a special restaurant week.
Allison Herbert leads Bath BID. She said Bath’s food scene is amazing. Many people work hard at these places, serving locals and six million yearly visitors.
This shows appreciation for them. It also helps them find new customers. Angelo Poretti beer sponsors events. It’s from Carlsberg Britvic. They will work with businesses during the week.
Barry Fortin is with Carlsberg Britvic. He is happy to support Bath Restaurant Week. He said local events are key. They celebrate the industry workers, and collaboration between businesses is important too. He looks forward to the first restaurant week.
Bath BID will hold a waiters’ race on April 7 on Royal Crescent. This will promote the restaurant week. The race will raise money for Hospitality Action.
Thirty-two waiter teams will compete. They’ll race around Royal Crescent in relays. Each team holds trays with water glasses. Speed and technique decide winners.
Businesses can buy team spots. Sales start on February 13. Check Bath Restaurant Week’s website, which launches on April 1.
