Road closures for essential resurfacing work are scheduled across BCP to prevent potholes and ensure road quality.

Columbia Road closes between Redhill and Kinson soon. It will close from 9 AM to 3 PM. This happens daily between March 6 and 8. Withermoor Road in Winton also closes.
Withermoor Road closes February 17 to 18. Work happens between 8 AM and 6 PM. Holloway Avenue in Bear Cross closes next. Holloway Avenue closes February 18 to 20.
Kitchener Crescent in Poole also gets work. That happens February 20 to 21. It’s between 8 AM and 6 PM too. Northmead Drive in Poole follows next. They will fix it February 21 to 23.
Westminster Road in Poole then closes. This is near The Avenue and Pinewood Road. It will close from February 23 to 24. Pinewood Road in Poole closes after that. Expect that work February 24 and 25.
Durlston Crescent in Christchurch gets work too. Durlston Crescent should be done February 25. Hillside Drive closes soon after. The roadwork spans February 26 to 28 and March 3. Moore Avenue closes too.
Moore Avenue in West Howe is next. They fix the road March 3 to 6. The BCP Council will show detour routes. They have signs for each road closure.
A council member, Andy Hadley, spoke about this work. He said preventative road maintenance benefits all. They aim to prevent potholes on roads here. Hadley said they follow transport guidance. This resurfacing stops damage to roads.
Micro surfacing is cheaper than big repairs. It is also a cleaner process. This roadwork causes short closures. Traffic disruption should not last long. Work often finishes within a day.
