A Norfolk holiday let at Beeston Regis gains approval despite objections. Owners can use the studio for income.

The council gave permission for the studio in 2012. It was for clients of their Art is Medicine program. Ms. Lloyd created this program. The original plans said the studio would focus on art projects. Clients would develop them for Art is Medicine.
The application to use it as a holiday let had objections. Beeston Regis Parish Council objected, as did Hilltop Outdoors Centre and some neighbors. Big Skies estate agency advertises the holiday let. They also wrote a letter to support the application.
One person said the issue is complex, thinking it’s a difficult issue in Sheringwood. This person supported the studio for therapy. Now they think it’s not a change of use application. They believe it’s removing environmental protections and protection from planning laws.
The person supported Ms. Lloyd’s art in 2004. They helped as it assisted psychotherapy clients under the studio’s conditions. A document says the holiday let provides income, giving the owners income for their art work.
