Brit Valley Rotary highlights Beirut hospital rebuild with guest Habib Saba, plus upcoming projects.

They welcomed Habib Saba and Louise McCance-Price. Habib came from the Beirut Rotary Club, and Louise represented the Putney Rotary Club.
Louise talked about her time with Rotary and mentioned her club’s projects. Her club helped the Beirut hospital, and she emphasized teamwork between Rotary clubs, which helps get big things done.
Habib then spoke about being a Rotarian. He talked about moving around the world and helping rebuild the hospital in Beirut, where he has lived for thirty years.
Adrian Scadding, the club’s future president, gave a presentation. He covered Rotary’s different areas and highlighted projects by Brit Valley, including Ukraine cataract surgeries and the Beirut hospital project.
John Clegg discussed the Santa run, which raised £4,200. He told stories of kids meeting Santa and thanked everyone who helped; Burton Bradstock Cars aided with a tow vehicle.
After the speeches, Habib, Louise, and John Riley exchanged club pennants.
