Darlington couple’s rescue dog, Chunk, suddenly paralyzed. Urgent specialist care needed, facing £12,000 vet bill.

Chunk, a rescue pug mix, suddenly collapsed at home just two days ago. He is three years old and had no previous health problems. The couple feels shocked and helpless, as vets can only manage his pain right now.
Chunk needs to see a specialist soon and requires an MRI to find the cause. Surgery and recovery may follow. Paul and Daniel face a £12,000 bill, an enormous amount for them to manage.
Before, they rescued Chunk’s sister who has serious epilepsy, and they used their funds. Now, both dogs urgently need help, leaving the couple feeling like they are at their limit.
Daniel says Chunk is family and has always been there for them. Chunk is loving with his goofy smile, and the couple loves him unconditionally. They would do anything for his health.
They sold some items for treatment money and are now asking for donations. Any amount can make a difference to them, and they will use excess funds well. The remaining money goes to animal rescues.
