George and Alfie host a horse race night to raise funds for the unit that cared for their cousin Enzo, born prematurely.

His lungs didn’t have time to fully grow. Simone Jenks is Enzo’s mom. She said she was rushed to the hospital. Her baby’s life was at risk then. She wasn’t ready for what was ahead. The neonatal unit became like a second home.
Enzo spent 84 days there. A great team cared for him, and Simone and Josh felt they were family. Enzo is now over a year old. People call this kid a “little warrior.” Enzo received three full blood transfusions. He was on a ventilator two times too.
He bravely wore a C-PAP mask. Multiple steroid treatments also treated him. Oxygen levels also went up and down. George and Alfie planned a horse race night. It will occur Saturday, March 1, from 6 PM.
Wolverley Social Club will host it. They will dress as Pikachu and Chicken, and pictures are possible with them. Donations earn a free treat. Guess the horse game will happen there. A quiet table provides coloring and activities.
A large raffle also will be available. Simone Jenks and Josh Hough are Enzo’s parents. They want to support those who helped them. They desire other families to get great care. Many businesses donated raffle prizes.
Tesco, Entertainer, and Sainsbury’s all gave. Foleys Fish Bar and Hodgehill Butchery pitched in. The Monarch Spice and Sher-E-Punjab also donated. Cook’s Garden Centre sent prizes as well. Gil’s Tea Room and Dunelm also helped.
