Nine-year-old Bailey completed three challenges to raise money for Dementia UK, exceeding her initial £500 goal.

Next, on Sunday, Bailey swam 5,000 meters in a pool, which was 250 lengths of the Bicester Hotel pool. After that, on Monday, February 17th, she walked 10km around Whitelands track.
Bailey’s parents are really proud of her. Her mom said Bailey was very determined. Bailey picked the charity and made a flyer herself, getting lots of support from everyone. They were amazed by her kindness.
Family and friends joined Bailey for her walk, wanting to support her. They held a celebration and a cheque presentation. Her great-grandmother even came to see, making it a special finish line party.
Bailey raised £1,780. She wanted to raise only £500 at first, making her mom feel so proud. Bailey did it for her great-grandmother, and Dementia UK is a charity that helps families with dementia.
Dementia UK has admiral nurses who give care to families. The care helps with all kinds of dementia, providing life-changing support for them. They really make a difference.
