Road works on London Road, Bicester, starting March 3rd, are expected to last until October, causing potential traffic delays.

Electricity Network Company Ltd. will do the work. They need multi-way temporary lights for traffic. These lights start March 3rd and end October 14th. That is almost eight months of possible delays. It’s happening near Mallards Way and Talisman Road.
Also, there’s a lane closure planned near the A41 junction. This second project lasts a few weeks. Expect it from March 31st to April 18th.
Oxfordshire County Council approved the roadwork plans. Electricity Network Company is part of BUUK. They manage networks across Britain and often build connections for new homes, too.
People are not happy about the road delays. One person said it means “more misery.” London Road is already debated due to level crossing plans. They want to close it for the East West Rail project, and a replacement plan was not well-received.
