Cala Homes plans Himley Village, near Middleton Stoney Road, with an estate containing 1,700 homes as part of Bicester’s eco-town project.

The newest phase features 44 houses, with thirty percent designated as affordable homes and various housing options available, including two one-bed flats and four two-bed flats.

Five will be two-bed houses, thirteen houses have three beds, and there will also be twenty four-bed houses; the council has received no feedback yet.

Himley Village aims to be sustainable and blend with its rural setting, involving many features such as open spaces and sports fields.

Community spaces, play areas, and parkland are planned, contributing to the goal of up to 1,700 homes with a design that respects Bicester’s history while looking to the future.

The homes vary in size to meet diverse housing needs, with a plan that includes 82 parking spots, nine of which are for visitors, and each home will have EV charging.
