Bingley is planning a Pride celebration aiming to unite the community and support LGBTQIA+ people. A comedy night and Bingo Brunch are scheduled.

A comedy night starts things off at Mavericks. This happens on Saturday. A Bingo Brunch follows at Bingley Arts Centre. It’s scheduled for June 28. Money raised aids the Bingley Pride team’s efforts. They are raising funds.
Tristan Smith spoke about Pride events. He said Pride is for everyone, not just city people. LGBTQ+ folks deserve safety and celebration. Bingley Pride aims to provide this.
Susie Martin helps organize the event. She is a pansexual mother. She saw her son discover himself. Pride events greatly improve well-being. Susie said Pride offers acceptance and love.
It creates a safe space. It helps people struggling with identity. It puts Bingley on the map too. Businesses will be on a map during the event. The event unites families and the community. Everyone knows someone in the LGBTQIA+ community.
