I saw some data from the council on car park earnings. It covers the 2023/24 financial year. The data lists the top ten earners in the borough. They looked at revenue from tickets and fines.

Witton Astroturf has 25 spaces and made £10,483 from tickets. Fines added £209, reaching a total revenue of £10,692. King Street Car Park has just ten spaces, where payments totaled £10,943.30. Adding fines of £534, the car park made £11,477.30 in total.

Simmons Street 1 Car Park also has ten spaces, earning £18,682.25. Fines were quite high at this location, totaling £2,219. The total income was £20,901.25. Weir Street Car Park, with forty spaces, generated £22,076.35 from ticket sales. Another £400 came from fines, bringing the overall total to £22,476.35.

Fleming Square Car Park offers ten spaces, with payments bringing in £23,781.35. Amazingly, fines totaled £5,739.40! The yearly income was £29,520.75. Feilden Street UCCP has ninety spaces available and earned £35,109.69. Extra income from fines was £410, with the final total for the year at £35,519.69.
