The B&M store on Willesden High Road is closing. It will shut down on March 29. A sign thanks customers for their past support.

The store sells discounted items. You can find home, garden, and grocery goods there. They also have furniture, toys, and seasonal products.

A customer spoke to the BKTimes. Neighbors feel disappointed about the store’s closure. You could buy almost anything there, they said. It had great prices without fancy extras.

The next closest B&M store is in Colindale. That location is too far for them to visit. The building used to be a Homebase store. People wonder what will replace the B&M or if they will build flats.

Brent Council approved a plan for the site last June. HSBC Bank Pension Trust (UK) Limited made the application. They want to partly tear down the building. The site will become two new shops.

The current building looks old and needs updating. Good design will create a better look. The new layout will have a contemporary facade.

The parking is confusing right now. They plan to improve it. This will help both drivers and walkers. The garden center will become plants and trees. You can view the application on Brent Council’s site. Use the code 23/2160. B&M has been asked for their opinion about the closing.
