The bodies found in the River Dee are confirmed to be Eliza and Henrietta Huszti, missing since January 7th.

The sisters, both 32, vanished on Tuesday, January 7th. They were last seen on Market Street. CCTV showed them near Victoria Bridge around 2:12 AM. They walked onto a path by the River Dee. It led toward the Aberdeen Boat Club.
Police searched the River Dee for three weeks. Searches ended, but the sisters remained missing. On Friday, January 31st, a body appeared near Queen Elizabeth Bridge. Police informed Henrietta’s family, though ID wasn’t official yet. Later that night, they located a second body.
It was near Victoria Bridge. Eliza’s family also got notified. Again, ID wasn’t confirmed initially. Now, Police Scotland confirms both bodies are the sisters.
Superintendent Howieson spoke about identifying the women. He mentioned the ongoing investigation into their deaths. At this time, they found no signs of suspicious activity. The police stated the cause of death is still unknown.
Earlier, police found no proof the sisters left the area. They also saw no evidence of any crime. The sisters, triplets from Hungary, visited the bridge earlier. It was about twelve hours before they disappeared. They texted their landlady that morning, The message said they wouldn’t return to the flat.
