Stuart Everett’s body was dismembered and scattered. Marcin Majerkiewicz denies murdering the pensioner in Salford.

Prosecutors say Majerkiewicz dumped the body parts. He made trips to the Kersal Dale area. CCTV footage allegedly captured him. Both men lived in a house in Salford. Police found bloodstains in the house. They also found evidence of cleaning.
Mr. Everett likely died in late March, before his body was cut up. The torso discovery led to more findings. Police found parts in six different locations. Majerkiewicz also denies manslaughter.
Mr. Everett lived with the defendant, whose birth name was Roman Ziemacki. He rented the house at 95 Worsely Road and sublet rooms to people, including Majerkiewicz. Rent increases may have caused tension.
Police reviewed CCTV after the torso was found. They saw a man with a blue bag going towards the wooded area on April 4, 2024. He later came out with a folded bag.
Majerkiewicz matched the person on CCTV and was arrested for murder. He had Everett’s phone and bank cards. Police searched Majerkiewicz’s home, finding blood and evidence of cleaning.
Phone data showed Majerkiewicz made trips with bags to Chesterfield Close in Winton, where nine packages were found. Body parts were in cling film at Linneyshaw Wood. More parts were at Blackleach Reservoir.
Only a third of Everett’s body was found. Back at the house, police found blood in the kitchen. A piece of carpet was cut from a bedroom. Everett had suffered a severe head injury, getting repeated blows to the head, and his skull was fractured. The trial continues.
