A body was found in Kenya during the search for Campbell Scott, a British businessman who disappeared ten days ago.

Campbell was at a data conference for the company Fico. He stayed at the JW Marriott in Nairobi. Colleagues last saw him mid-February. Police started looking when he didn’t return. They checked local restaurants and bars.
Herders found the body last Thursday. It was in a green sack in the Makongo forest, sixty miles from Nairobi. They took the body to a hospital. Identification is pending now. Reports say he was strangled.
Kenyan police have a theory, too. Scott visited a gay bar in Westlands. It was the day before vanishing, maybe. He went back on February 16th, then took a taxi to a big slum area.
The UK Foreign Office is helping out. They contacted the police there. Police asked Interpol to help access his call data. A close friend shared some thoughts. He said Scott was a very kind person.
Fico said they’re working with authorities, who are investigating things now. They send thoughts to his family. The Foreign Office said they are helping and talking with local police too.
