Police discovered a body believed to be that of Ben, an Oxford man missing for a month, in the River Thames.

Police and Lowland Rescue searched the waterways a lot for four weeks around Oxford.
Today, police found a body in the River Thames near Iffley Lock, four months since he disappeared. They think it’s Ben.
There were many police cars earlier; Mill Lane had six vehicles, and an officer guarded a taped-off area.
Detective Inspector Blackmore spoke, saying they were looking for Ben, and sadly, they found a body this morning they think is him.
They haven’t formally identified him yet, but Ben’s family knows, and officers are helping them through this really hard time.
The police will prepare a file for the coroner and think it was a tragic accident. They thank Lowland Rescue Oxfordshire and the public for their help.
