Adam Lowe, already jailed for assault, made 120 calls to his ex-partner, violating a restraining order and receiving more jail time.

Lowe, age 34, broke a restraining order prohibiting contact with Kirsty Vipond. He is currently serving a 22-month sentence, given by Bolton Crown Court last August, for assaulting her.
Myles Wilson stated Lowe made 120 phone calls to Vipond from prison. Lowe was described as jealous, possessive, and threatening. He threatened to send people to watch her house.
Vipond’s statement indicated she felt scared and upset. The calls severely affected her mental health.
The court heard Lowe has a history of violence and has broken restraining orders eight times previously.
John Wyn Williams, defending Lowe, said his client suffers from PTSD and anxiety due to the loss of three family members. He also stated Lowe loves his children and has taken prison courses to improve himself.
Judge Nicola Saffman extended Lowe’s sentence by twelve months.
