Roadworks across BCP from February 10-16 will cause delays. Major roads affected. Temporary closures and traffic lights in place.
Expect delays and temporary traffic lights on several roads. These roads include Acres Road, Alumhurst Road, and Branksome Wood Road. Castle Lane East, Christchurch Road, and Clarendon Road are included too. Columbia Road, Gloucester Road, Palmerston Road, and Queens Park Avenue also have work. Find Ringwood Road, Somerford Road, Upton Road, and Wimborne Road listed as well.
Acres Road in Bournemouth closes temporarily from February 7 to February 15 for SSEPD installation work. Bargates in Christchurch is shut until February 21; this is also for SSEPD installation work with a marked detour.
Beaulieu Road, Branksome Dene Road, Gloucester Road, and Howard Road will temporarily close. Queens Park Gardens and Queens Park West Drive will be closed, too.
Other roads will have closures or limits. Bengal Road also will have work completed. Many roads have work happening next week; check the BCP Council website if you want more details.
