Bournemouth’s Fisherman’s Walk Kiosk may sell alcohol. Manor Steps Kiosk also wants to sell drinks.

They proposed selling until 7:30 PM. The requested hours are 9:30 AM to 7:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Rules ensure safe alcohol consumption in Bournemouth.

Councilor Rich Herrett spoke about the seafront. He knows people enjoy drinking responsibly. The council works closely with Dorset Police, and they create licence conditions together easily.

Staff must stop selling if incidents happen nearby. Sales end strictly at 7:30 PM each night. Staff will refuse sales when necessary and receive training for age verification checks. Bulk alcohol sales won’t happen there.

Drinks go into biodegradable cups, keeping beaches safe and clean. No glass or single-use plastics will be left.

They hope for approval soon. Alcohol sales might start by Easter time, which would enhance visitor experiences greatly.
