A Bournemouth man is fighting for his life after a serious motorcycle crash in Winton on Wimborne Road.

The motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries and is currently in Southampton Hospital; his family has been notified of his condition. The driver of the car, however, was not seriously injured.
Authorities closed the road temporarily to investigate the scene. According to a local woman, speeding is a common issue in the area, specifically between Jameson Road and Victoria Park Road. She is urging drivers to be more cautious.
Police Sergeant Dave Cotterill is appealing for witnesses and any dashcam footage from Winton High Street around the time of the crash. He also expressed his gratitude to the public for their patience during the road closures.
The ambulance service responded promptly, deploying an air ambulance and a rapid response vehicle. Ultimately, the injured biker was transported to the hospital by land ambulance.
