A 12 year old was arrested for walking around Reddish Vale High School with a knife. No serious injuries were reported.

The incident occurred at Reddish Vale High School in Stockport, Greater Manchester, on Monday afternoon. Other students are heard speaking in the video, with one asking, “What you doing man’?” and another questioning, “Why have you got a knife?”
Police responded to the school incident after receiving reports of a person with a knife. The call came around 3:10 pm on Monday, February 10, 2025. The school address is Reddish Vale Road in Stockport.
Thankfully, nobody suffered serious injuries. Police arrested the 12-year-old boy for suspicion of assault and possessing a bladed weapon. They took him into police custody.
Stockport Borough Council also commented, stating they knew about the incident that happened earlier that day at Reddish Vale School. They understand the community’s concerns.
Police were present to handle the situation and secured the school. The council is thankful no one was hurt and is working with the school for support, prioritizing the safety of students and teachers.
