Hasan Kazi was in court. It happened at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates court on Thursday morning. He admitted to nine charges about two houses on Easby Road, near Bradford College.

Kazi pleaded guilty to the charges, which involve housing regulations. He also admitted violating a housing order. The sentencing will occur on April 16, Kazi lives on Laisteridge Lane.

He failed to maintain a house of multiple occupation (HMO) and did not repair or clean it. The court heard about more charges that Bradford Council plans to bring.

The charges include violating housing rules and not complying with a prohibition order. This order involved a dangerous hazard, but he let people use the building anyway, defying the order.

Kazi also failed to fix hazards that were categories 1 and 2, and did not complete the required repairs for 14 Easby Road, despite an improvement notice being served.

Six more charges occurred, involving improvement notices related to flats at 8 Easby Road. Imran Hussain spoke for Bradford Council, stating Kazi owns many properties, but these charges are about only two properties.

More summons are coming, as the Council is preparing them. Magistrates delayed sentencing and await the new charges, scheduling the new date for April 16.
