Three individuals sentenced for a vicious attack on a cyclist on Bransford Road, resulting in serious injuries.

All three faced a charge of inflicting grievous bodily harm and pleaded guilty earlier.
Fidoe received a 23-month prison sentence, suspended for two years. He must also complete 250 hours of work and pay £500 in compensation.
Rebecca and Samantha Lacey also received sentences of nine months in prison, suspended for 12 months.
All three received rehabilitation orders and must pay a victim surcharge. They also received a five-year restraining order, with the charges stemming from June 2020.
They attacked a cyclist who was riding on Bransford Road near the bypass roundabout. The cyclist went to the hospital with a head injury and facial fractures, requiring surgery later on.
Detective David Wood led this case, describing it as a vicious, targeted, but opportunistic attack. The cyclist tried to escape on his bike, but they chased him by car, leaving him nowhere to go. He suffered horrible injuries, and the detective commended the victim for his bravery and patience, stating that violence is not welcome on our streets.
