Somerset Film will create and show a film. It will celebrate Bridgwater. Residents can share stories and favorite things.

Deb Richardson is the creative director there. She said they will tell a story. She prefers this story to a documentary. It will show modern life in a special way. She thinks the community deserves celebration. People can get involved in making the film.
The Bridgwater Town Deal fund supports the project. You can find film details at somersetfilm.com/community. Now, residents are asked to share favorite things. Share your top three best things about Bridgwater. A place, person, event, or activity is good.
The team also wants to hear stories. Tell how you came to live there. Share tales of journeys back home. Ms. Richardson knows some things already, for example, she knows about carnival. But there are many more stories.
They want to learn secret favorites. These are things only Bridgwater people know. You can share ideas with the team. Visit Seed Creative Pop-up in Angel Place on March 1st. It will be open from 1 PM to 4 PM. Or visit The Engine Room on March 5th. Hours there are from 6 PM to 8 PM.
You can also email your ideas. Use the heading “Bridgwater Top Three.” Or use the heading “Bridgwater Journey.” The deadline for submissions is March 31st.
You can volunteer as an extra in the film. Send your contact information via email. Include a photo and your date of birth. Send it to info@somersetfilm.com.
Filming will happen during the summer. The planned release date is December 2025.
