Local MP backs Bridgwater Mens Shed in its search for a new, larger space to accommodate its growing membership and activities.

It started in 2015 in Burrowbridge. Now, the group meets by a canal in Bridgwater, offering a friendly place where people do hands-on things.
Members learn new skills together and connect through shared interests. Woodworking and DIY are common activities. The Shed fights isolation and provides a place where people find support.
Sir Ashley visited the Men’s Shed group and spoke to members about their lives. He learned that the Shed improved their lives a lot.
The MP praised their work, expressing his love for their camaraderie and purpose. He thinks they help develop skills and support the community. He wants them to find a larger space.
Gerald Swayne spoke for the Shed, stating that they built something great. More members need more room now, and they want a bigger space for cheap. Contact Gerald Swayne to help at 07521 688366.
