Broadacres started action days in 2023. They worked with the police and council; Citizen’s Advice also helped them.

The action days were a hit in 2024. They visited homes and held events, taking place all over North Yorkshire.

Over 1,000 people gave feedback, talking about homes and communities. They shared their thoughts about services, and Broadacres will use this feedback to plan the 2025 action days.

Tracy Hughes, a manager at Broadacres, liked the 2024 action days. Eighteen groups gave advice at them, covering safety, benefits, and more while tackling bad behavior and cleaning.

They plan to improve the action days this year by tailoring information to each area. Broadacres wants to share good news too, including home investment and repair updates.

These events are only the start. Neighborhood officers will keep working with locals on key issues, which helps Broadacres build great communities and aims to build trust and strong bonds. They also want early action and prevention.

An event happened Wednesday in Northallerton, and more action days will happen in 2025.
