Bromsgrove Ukrainian Refugee Hails Overwhelming Appeal Response
She is excited about all the help she got. She is 65 and lives in Stoke Prior. A refugee group supports her, named Bromsgrove & Redditch Welcome Refugees.
In one week, she received seven boxes. These boxes contained syringes and tools. NHS doctors sent the medical gear. People also gave her crutches and other items.
One person drove from Wrexham. He filled his car with crutches. Adam Dobrzynski gave his crutches too. He had them because of knee surgery. He felt he really needed to help.
Adam wanted to do more than just give crutches. He spread the word about Tanya’s need. He said helping people is normal for him. He didn’t expect such a huge response.
Tanya wants to help Ukrainian civilians and troops. She explained her deep motivation for this. Bombs hit her city all day and night; many get hurt daily, and medical supplies are vital.
Now, Tanya wants more things to help others. She needs medicines and dressings from pharmacies. Coffee, tea bags, and yoga mats are also useful.
