Brynkinalt Estate proposes 62 houses in St Martins, addressing past planning concerns with varied home sizes and increased public space.

Shropshire’s planning was once set for this land. Inspectors then called it unsound in a letter that arrived on December 10.
Original plans had over 70 houses. Parish council concerns reduced that number. The new design considers these concerns.
The plan includes varied house sizes, proposing two, three, and four-bedroom homes. The homes will be one or two stories, a feature the parish council favored.
Consultation changed the public space, increasing its size and combining it into two areas. One central area has a gentler slope, meeting policy and giving future residents useful space.
More landscaping consideration will occur later. They will examine connectivity and boundary treatments with landscaping applications.
The estate claims traffic won’t get worse. People expect a decision by May 14, and approval of the plans is pending.
